Who you are

Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or equivalent Technical Degree
8+ years of work experience in software development
Preferable languages: Python, Go, Java, bash
Basic Linux knowledge to run code and triage issues
HPC, large scale computing frameworks, hardware performance, and/or scientific computing, e.g., CUDA, MPI
Machine Learning concepts, workflow, and deployment; and ML frameworks such as Pytorch
Ability to adapt/learn and apply new information and technologies
Ability to effectively communicate technical info
Ability to design/build classes and other interfaces that are testable/maintainable
Additional Skills: Artificial Intelligence Technologies, Cross Domain Knowledge, Data Engineering, Data Science, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, Full Stack Development, IT Performance, Machine Learning Operations, Scalability Testing, Security-First Mindset

Desirable

Experience with software development lifecycle and delivering production-level software

What the job involves

The Artificial Intelligence Solutions At-Scale group is looking for a Software Engineer to help the team build the next generation Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications for High Performance Computing
This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team on scaled ML technologies
Works among a team to develop AI and ML tools for HPC customers
Apply subject matter knowledge to solve complex business and technical challenges
Contributes to translating customer requirements and industry trends into AI/ML tools and solutions
Documents procedures for installation and maintenance, develops software, performs testing and debugging, defines and monitors performance metrics
May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees
