Senior Accountant, Booksy

• Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is required
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on general ledger management and month-end/year-end close processes
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills, with a demonstrated ability to streamline and improve financial operations

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• As a Senior Accountant with a strong focus on general ledger management, your purpose will be to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of our financial operations
• You will oversee key financial processes, lead the month-end close, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in accounting operations
• The perfect candidate will demonstrate a willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment and an ability to shape new processes as well as improve old ones
• General Ledger Management: Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and classified
• Month-end and Year-End Close: Lead closing processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting regulations and internal controls
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
• Audit Support: Assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors
• Team Collaboration: Partner with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data flow
