Who you are

You hold a master's or PhD degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experienced software engineer with 8+ years developing complex systems using languages like C#, Python, Java, Scala
Skilled in front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js) and web technologies are a plus
Strong knowledge of Linux, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud/hybrid deployments, and CI/CD pipelines
Proficient in troubleshooting using observability tools likePrometheus/Grafana or Elastic Search/Kibana
Collaborative, agile-minded, curious, and passionate about quality, user experience, and continuous learning

What the job involves

As a Senior Back-End Software Development Engineer in the Factory - Continuous Deployment team at Criteo, you'll take the binaries built by CI and push them to production in a way which eliminates the unnecessary toil
The tools we provide manage deployment automation (Continuous Deployment, Perpetuo), configuration (Fleet Management System) and safety (Validation Gates, Release Freeze)
Build and operate highly available, secure, and scalable services supporting Criteo’s private cloud developer platform
Design developer-facing tools and APIs to simplify workflows across the development lifecycle, from coding and review to deployment and monitoring
Support the continuous deployment infrastructure and ensure smooth, automated delivery of applications and services used across the company
Foster a strong engineering culture by improving visibility, automation, and reliability through metrics, logs, and other observability best practices
Core work: C#, TypeScript, Groovy
