Who you are

  • You have 5+ years of working experience working with data, data visualization, and dashboarding tools
  • You are an expert in SQL, and have at least familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation tools
  • You have strong user empathy - you can deeply understand the core issues stakeholders are having and translate them into solutions that meaningfully improve their ability to operate
  • You have experience working with Looker or other similar data visualization tools (tableau, etc), both creating the data model and building dashboards
  • You focus on impact, finding the things you can deliver that deliver the most value for your stakeholders
  • You have exceptional communication skills, are comfortable explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience, and are comfortable working independently with executive level team members
  • You are humble, highly motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments

What the job involves

  • We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst in Finance, an individual contributor role within our Business Intelligence organization
  • As part of the Embedded Analytics team, this position will work closely with the finance team to develop reporting infrastructure and ensure accurate, consistent company-level metrics
  • Success will require collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Analytics Engineering and Data Platforms teams, to integrate relevant data into dbt and surface it in our reporting tools
  • Partner with the finance team to build, maintain, and improve reporting infrastructure that supports our core business KPIs
  • Ensure accurate and consistent reporting of core, company-wide metrics, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data alignment across the business
  • Work with our analytics engineering team to maintain the core data models in dbt that support key business metrics and ensure data consistency
  • Develop dashboards and data visualizations that empower finance and business teams to understand overall trends and drill into drivers of various metrics
  • Collaborate closely with finance and other data analysts to define and finalize critical business metrics and ensure proper data infrastructure to serve them
  • Ensure downstream teams can access and utilize data effectively by providing comprehensive documentation and support
  • Reduce the amount of time teams spend manually pulling data to inform decisions
  • Develop dashboards and analyses that deliver ongoing value to teams, measured in proxy by the number of monthly active users and total views different dashboards and analyses receive
  • Develop tools and analyses that enable the teams you work with to hit their own KPIs - you’re successful when you help your team be successful!
  • Contribute to our foundational data model by adding additional fields and tables according to our data style guide

Additionally, existing support systems are usually generalized, failing to deliver the personalized mental healthcare that individuals need. To address this gap, Spring Health has developed AI-driven tools for employers to create tailored mental wellness plans for their employees, including treatment options, daily routines, and medication plans based on individual data.

Spring Health has recently expanded its services to the family and pediatric space through the acquisition of Weldon, offering mental wellness guidance to parents. This expansion includes chats with therapists, social workers, and parenting coaches, as well as group support with other parents and access to educational content. By focusing on personalized care, Spring Health aims to enhance mental wellness support for families alongside its existing employee services.

The behavioral health market is projected to grow to $242B by 2027. While many solutions prioritise fast access to therapy or meditation, Spring Health differentiates itself by emphasizing the right type of care for each individual. With substantial funding raised, Spring Health is well-positioned to continue its innovative approach to mental health services.
