Who you are
- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the EMEA market, and a proven track record in developing high-performing teams that deliver outstanding results across various business segments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is an advantage
- 10+ years of experience in account management, business development, or sales, including a demonstrated history of success in leadership roles emphasizing team enablement and indirect management
- Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and driving significant revenue growth
- Strong understanding of the EMEA market dynamics and customer needs
- Outstanding skills in communication, coaching, and relationship-building
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as needed within the EMEA region (app. 50%)
What the job involves
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Strategic Accounts for the EMEA region
- This leadership role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our strategic client relationships by enabling, guiding, and supporting local and regional teams
- Providing strategic direction, guidance, and support to local and regional account teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives
- Empowering teams to develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with both existing and new clients across multiple business segments
- Facilitating collaboration and the sharing of best practices among account teams to maximize opportunities for growth and client success
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to design and implement strategies that address the unique requirements of different markets and client profiles within the EMEA region
- Monitoring performance, removing obstacles, and ensuring teams have the resources, tools, and training needed to achieve excellence in execution
- Develop and communicate strategic account plans to guide local and regional teams in driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction across the EMEA region
- Take responsibility for a select portfolio of key accounts while driving the expansion of strategic initiatives throughout the EMEA region
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to account managers and teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure strategies are effectively executed through local teams
- Identify and address capability gaps within teams, ensuring ongoing professional development and access to necessary tools and resources
- Support teams in identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and in penetrating new markets and sectors
- Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape, sharing insights with teams to inform account strategies and initiatives
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of regular reports on account performance, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives to senior management
- Champion the company’s presence at industry events, conferences, and client meetings by enabling and preparing local teams to represent our solutions effectively
- Partner with local teams throughout EMEA to ensure strategies and initiatives are adapted to local markets and business objectives are met
