Who you are
- Master's degree or equivalent (e.g., engineering school, doctorate) in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science)
- Data-driven mindset with a strong analytical aptitude and a passion for improving product quality, and ultimately the user experience
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
- Experience in designing and maintaining dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., using Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Python libraries) or building data pipelines (e.g., using dbt, Dagster or Airflow)
- A first successful experience in a data-oriented role (e.g., Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Quality Engineer with strong data focus), ideally with exposure to quality or engineering data analysis is a strong plus
- Good understanding of product development lifecycles and/or quality assurance methodologies is a strong plus
What the job involves
- The Data Analytics team is responsible for supporting the business teams, answering their questions and enabling them to monitor key performance indicators, as well as ensuring the relevance and quality of the data analyzed
- Guaranteeing the proper functioning of our products and associated software, from development to market release
- Proactively identifying and addressing quality issues by thoroughly testing products, analyzing data from various sources (including manufacturing, internal beta-testing, and customer feedback), and collaborating with development teams to implement solutions
- Analyze vast amounts of data related to product performance, internal testing, and market feedback (from sources like software logs)
- Implement robust data pipelines to aggregate, clean, transform, and precompute large volumes of diverse quality-related data
- Create and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators related to Product Quality, including market usage data, measurement failure rates, or other software indicators such as resets, errors/bug traces...retrieved from devices in customer hands
- Propose data architectures and solutions tailored to the specific needs of quality assurance
- Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineering teams to provide data-driven support
- Support the Quality team in defining data collection strategies during product development to enable comprehensive quality tracking
- Develop scripts to support the developpement of automated tests in order to help speed up and reinforce the Software Quality team in the product software verification phases

Withings have been merging stylish design with IoT-connected health since 2009. Spanning engineering, data science, and healthcare, the Parisian company are behind products such as the Apple-connected Body Smart scales which includes an “eyes closed” mode, hiding the weight from the user but harvesting the data to keep tabs on health.
Withings was the first company to release such smart-scale products and has expanded its offerings over time. Other products in the Withings range include hybrid watches, blood pressure monitors, and sleep analysis tools.
Though working within a crowded market, the maturity of Withings has meant that it has years of experience behind it and has grown its team steadily over time. With considerable funding, the company now has offices across Europe, the USA, and Asia.
