Front End Engineer, Wallapop

• Experience building large-scale web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and Node.js
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks and libraries, particularly React (Next.js preferred) and Angular
• Proven understanding of UI/UX best practices and how to build user-friendly, intuitive applications
• Solid experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Jasmine) and continuous delivery pipelines
• Proven ability to collaborate in an agile environment, working with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills and a growth mindset, with an openness to learning and knowledge sharing

• At Wallapop, we’re looking for an experienced Front-end engineer to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our web applications. As part of this role, you’ll help shape how we deliver meaningful content to millions of customers, building both customer-facing web apps and internal tools
• In this position, you’ll take ownership of all stages of the development lifecycle — from design to deployment — while collaborating closely with design, product, and back-end teams to implement solutions that elevate the user experience
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications that deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences for millions of users
• Transform designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and reusable UI components that are responsive and accessible across devices
• Write maintainable and testable code, adhering to best practices and incorporating unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with other peers during code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, reliable code
• Optimize our web applications for performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability, keeping the user experience a top priority
• Work with cross-functional teams (product, design, back-end) to define technical requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality solutions on time

• Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing
