Role
Who you are
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field to be completed no later than May 2025
- A creative and inquisitive thinker who finds ways to unblock challenging problems. Motivated and self-starting
- Someone with great commercial acumen and product instincts
- Evidence of interest in working with financial markets and/or technology providers
- A strong communicator who is comfortable presenting to seniors both internally and externally
- Expected to work at least 3 days in the office
What the job involves
- The Business Development team is responsible for creating and managing relationships with strategic partners that support OSTTRA’s business objectives
- This will involve assisting in initiatives for market penetration, understanding the revenue implications of service enhancements, establishing relationships with internal and external partners, setting and achieving key metrics and understanding the wider regulatory landscape
- The Impact: We’re looking for Business Development Intern to help support our MarkitWire Rates service for the North America region
- You will work closely with business and product leaders to identify and execute the strategy for the success of these products, and the overall profitability of the firm
- Review and analyze the business development process for selected new projects and initiatives relating to the MarkitWire trade processing platform
- Running metrics related to volume, revenue and forecasting
- Ability to partner closely with internal Product partners to ensure product requirements and delivery meet customer expectation
- Create and manage strong relationships with market participants, alongside the Sales and Customer Success teams, that will help drive growth and adoption of OSTTRA’s products
- Attending industry calls and events related to upcoming market changes
- Firsthand exposure to our business performance within the context of the global financial services sector
- Ability to work across different types of businesses, with different levels in the firm, and with second line functions including legal, compliance, and operations
- Exposure to market leading buy and sell side firms, and industry partners
