Systems Administrator, VTS

• You are a self-starter. You do not wait for a ticket to tell you what is broken or what could be better. You see it, own it, fix it, and document it so it never happens again
• You are endlessly curious about AI and automation. You stay current, experiment on your own, and bring ideas from what you have learned directly into your work. Orchestration, AI-driven workflows, and intelligent tooling are not buzzwords to you, you know how the different models respond and you are already building with them
• You think in systems, not tickets. A mature IT environment excites you because you are already ahead instead of being reactive
• 4+ years of IT experience in a corporate environment, ideally at a high-growth tech or SaaS company
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in workflow or IT automation on platforms such as Workato, Okta Workflows, Zapier, n8n, or comparable tools
• Hands-on Mac and Windows endpoint management experience using Jamf or Ninja RMM, our environment is 90% Mac and 10% Windows
• SaaS administration experience across Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and Zoom, with a track record of improving how those platforms are managed
• Experience leading or owning IT change initiatives, not just executing tasks, but scoping, planning, and driving meaningful change across an organization
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to present ideas upward, push back when something does not make sense, and bring colleagues along on new ways of working

• VTS is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our IT team
• In this role, you will be part of the operational core of our New York headquarters and a key contributor to a rapidly growing business
• Reporting to the Director of IT, you will be a critical technical resource across all aspects of our corporate IT infrastructure, core systems including SSO, identity and access management, SaaS management, workflow automation, network operations, and GSuite; business-critical platforms including NetSuite, Salesforce, and our HRIS; and engineering tools including GitHub, Datadog, and AWS
• You will directly impact the day-to-day productivity of the entire workforce and expand your IT experience across every layer of the infrastructure
• But this is not just an operations or support role
• It is an opportunity for someone who spots inefficiencies and fixes them, implements high-impact IT changes across the org, and builds automation pipelines and AI-assisted workflows that scale with the business
