Role
Who you are
- Minimum 5 years of Frontend Engineering experience
- Fluency in Typescript and extensive experience with React
- Ideally has experience with React Native (or willing to learn it)
- Strong awareness of the interplay between JavaScript, HTML & CSS. You can dynamically build, modify and style elements on a page confidently
- Familiarity with Single-Page Applications. Ideally, you have developed internal systems or Web Applications for complex business domains
- You are adaptable and have experience in the design, development, deployment, maintenance and improvement of our software solutions with a DevOps mindset
- Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
- Collaboratively working as part of a multi-disciplined feature team to design and implement best in class software solutions
- Contribute to a culture of learning and growth through mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Strong communication skills in English with the ability to lead team meetings and find creative solutions to complex problems

What the job involves
- As the Senior Frontend Engineer at Moonfare, reporting to our Engineering Manager and working with a devoted team of 4 FrontEnd Engineers, you will conceptualize and develop the core platform technology of Moonfares Frontend that will further help us democratize private equity investing for the globe
- With a forensic eye and focus on UX and Frontend Performance you will implement impactful changes for our entire investor community. You will develop and maintain the infrastructural backbone of Moonfares tech stack by engineering a state-of-the-art Frontend architecture
- Build and maintain the architecture of the entire Frontend ecosystem
- Set engineering standards, implement and develop best practices for feature teams
- Take ownership of the Frontend architecture
- Write tests and care about the quality of your code, following and developing best practices
- Write code that your peers praise for its elegance and readability and add value by leveraging current trends in software design, architecture, and technology
- Use your world-class development techniques to deliver a high-performance, stable and auto-scalable production system that delivers business value in weeks, not quarters or years
Our take
Many high-level investment opportunities are solely reserved for financial institutions. This means that for most private investors, top-tier equity funds are completely out of reach. Moonfare solves this problem by giving individuals access to institution-level investing.
Moonfare's platform allows investors to take part in funding rounds offered up by some of the biggest names in investing, including The Carlyle Group and Tiger Global. The company offers investment opportunities with investment minimums as low as €50,000, which is about 100x less than the traditional minimum - so while not everyone can afford to make investments through the company, a much larger pool of people have the ability to enter private markets.
Moonfare is headed up by an impressive team of KKR, BlackRock, Amazon and J.P. Morgan alums, which adds significant credibility to their product. The company has also raised significant investment, which will be used to fund new product development and market expansion.
