Senior Member of Technical Staff, Aviatrix Systems

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering focused on networking, security, or distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern language: Golang, C/C++, or Python
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on technically challenging problems and to collaborate effectively across teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• We are searching for a Senior Member of Technical Staff (Sr. MTS) to join the Aviatrix Platform Team
• The Aviatrix Platform Team builds and maintains the distributed software platform that powers Aviatrix’s multicloud networking and security solutions
• This team ensures the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure, enabling enterprise customers to manage complex cloud environments with confidence
• Develop scalable, high-performance and reliable distributed networking applications and automation tooling using modern languages such as Golang, Python, or similar
• Utilize build automation and containerization tools (e.g., Bazel, CI/CD pipelines, Docker) to streamline development, testing, and deployment environments
• Implement end-to-end network management solutions by analyzing requirements and working under the guidance of senior engineers
• Investigate, debug, and optimize system components to significantly improve scalability, stability, and reliability
• Propose and implement incremental improvements that enhance overall product reliability and performance
• Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality and timely feature delivery
• Actively participate in design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and sharing technical learnings across the organization
