Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in office operations, administrative support, or a hybrid role—ideally in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
- Methodical, systems-minded, and relentlessly organized; you see inefficiencies and build better processes
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple concurrent workstreams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism
- 5 days a week in office
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; international experience or working with distributed teams is a plus
What the job involves
- Talos is seeking a highly organized and systems-oriented Office Manager/ Executive Assistant to join our New York office
- This individual will serve as the operational backbone of our workspace—designing processes, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the office runs smoothly every day
- Approximately 60% of the role will focus on office management, while 40% will provide high-level executive support to our COO and Head of Revenue
- Office Management (60%)
- Create and maintain systems to keep the office organized, efficient, and well-run
- Manage relationships with building management, vendors, and service providers; resolve facilities issues proactively
- Order and restock all office supplies—including snacks, beverages, and bathroom items—ensuring consistent inventory levels
- Own the in-office employee experience, fostering a clean, professional, and welcoming environment
- Organize and execute internal events and offsites, from planning to logistics
- Document and refine recurring office processes to reduce manual overhead and improve consistency
- Support broader business operations through thoughtful organization and systems-building
- Executive Support (40%)
- Provide structured administrative support to the COO and Head of Revenue, including calendar management, travel coordination, and expense reporting
- Anticipate executive needs, triage priorities, and ensure leaders are well-prepared for meetings and travel
- Develop repeatable systems for scheduling, communication, and task tracking
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

So far, the increasing institutional interest in the value of crypto-assets has been stymied by a lack of scaled, efficient, and secure infrastructure that these institutions could use for trade. Talos addresses the problem of digital asset trading between institutions, helping them to securely sidestep these obstacles into a fresh market with potentially huge returns.
The company provides a range of end-to-end, highly configurable tools to populate and facilitate the institutional crypto-asset market from just one platform. Talos' approach is helping to lower the bar for wide-ranging adoption of cryptocurrency, supporting the full lifespan of digital assets trading. That said, because they’re developing the market of an entirely new asset-class, progress is accelerated and competition may have a chance to overtake.
Promising for Talos was the interest of prominent investors like PayPal and Fidelity during their Series A funding round, with the funds being used to create an institutional-grade service to help them both shape and spearhead this developing market. More recently, the company has made a number of significant partnerships, and also acquired D3X Systems, the integration of which will allow its clients to design, validate, implement and manage highly customized portfolios.
