- Strong understanding of SQL, data warehousing concepts and best practices to support strategic decision-making
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modelling, to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities
- Capability to develop forward-looking insights that influence business strategies, especially in a Revenue Operations context
- Ability to proactively recommend data-driven actions that enhance operational efficiency, revenue growth, and strategic decision-making
- Deep commercial acumen to understand business drivers, strategic objectives, and financial impacts, ensuring analytics solutions are aligned with revenue growth and profitability goals

- As the Data Analyst, you’ll transform raw data into strategic insights, enabling proactive decision-making and driving business growth
- By strengthening strategic foresight, improving data trust, and enhancing agility in bespoke analyses, this role ensures accurate, consistent data structures and fosters agile ways of working by ensuring accurate, consistent data structures and enabling agile ways of working

- A key outcome is the shift from reactive reporting to forward-looking analytics, empowering teams to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and navigate business and market changes proactively
- The role not only shows where the organisation stands now but also uses historical data to forecast where it is heading, enabling teams to identify potential gaps and course-correct if progress deviates from strategic targets
- Ultimately, the role enhances collaboration, transparency, and accountability across the organisation, embedding data at the core of decision-making and enabling everyone to work smarter and more strategically
- Lead the development and maintenance of all dashboards and data visualisations, primarily using Tableau, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment
- Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and provide clear, actionable insights to support decision-making across all levels of the organisation
- Continuously improve visualisations based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs, maintaining consistency in data logic and metrics
- Shift the organisation from reactive reporting to proactive strategic insights by developing forward-looking analytics, including forecasting models and predictive analyses
- Provide timely strategic recommendations that anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and guide business strategies, supporting data-driven decision-making
- Regularly present insights and strategic analyses to leadership and cross-functional teams, influencing strategic decisions and driving business growth
- Design, build, and maintain robust data models to ensure consistent and reliable data structures, optimised for accurate reporting and strategic analysis
- Perform data transformation and integration using ELT tools (e.g., Sayn, Fivetran), ensuring clean and trusted data pipelines
- Collaborate with the Systems Analyst to maintain data integrity and minimise discrepancies, supporting high data quality and trust across the organisation
- Engage with stakeholders, including leadership, sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to understand strategic priorities and data needs
- Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Communicate complex data insights clearly and compellingly to non-technical audiences, building trust and promoting data-driven decision-making
- Champion an iterative approach to BI development, continuously refining data models, dashboards, and insights based on feedback and changing business needs
- Ensure BI solutions remain relevant, actionable, and impactful, driving strategic value across the organisation
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests and bespoke research questions, ensuring timely, accurate, and relevant analyses
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand bespoke needs and deliver tailored insights that support strategic initiatives
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and consistency in all bespoke reports, ensuring trust and reliability in strategic insights
- Foster a data-driven culture by empowering teams to confidently use data in decision-making
- Lead workshops and training sessions on BI insights, dashboard usage, and data hygiene best practices in partnership with the Systems Analyst
- Develop accessible learning resources to support a self-serve data culture and reduce reliance on manual reporting
- Continuously assess and improve training initiatives to enhance data confidence and adoption across teams
- Success is measured across the following KPIs, which contribute directly to the Digital team achieving our overall company performance goals
- Data Accuracy: Percentage reduction in data discrepancies measured by ticket volume
- Dashboard Usage: Increase in stakeholder engagement with dashboards
- Insight Proactiveness: Number of proactive insights presented to leadership
- Data Trust: Improvement in data trust scores from stakeholder feedback

- The Hiring Manager for this role is Jules Kennedy, Head of Digital
- You'll meet us first via a short virtual zoom interview with Head of Digital
- We'll then progress candidates to two face to face stages:
- In person with Head of Digital and one of our managers
- This stage will give you the opportunity to visit a space, understand what we're about, and discuss your experience in detail
- You'll also be able to meet one of your new team, and have chance to ask plenty of questions!
- In person with Head of Digital and Paul Dutnall, COO
- At this stage, we'll focus on some of the core deliverables of the role, and there'll be a presentation stage
- We'd love you to get to know as many of our team as possible while you interview with us - if there's anyone you especially would like to meet, just ask!
- We'd love the successful candidate to join us at the start of April; but we're happy to wait for the right person
