What the job involves
- The Senior Director of Product Marketing owns the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and storytelling for a portfolio of products within a solution category.
- They lead a small team of Product Marketers, ensuring consistent messaging, effective launches, and alignment with cross-functional partners (Sales, Product, CX, Enablement).
- This role serves as the category-level leader, shaping the narrative, prioritizing investments, and driving measurable impact across pipeline, brand equity, and adoption
- Develop and own the category-level narrative and positioning, ensuring clear differentiation in the market
- Partner with Product Management to shape roadmap storytelling and prioritize launch plans
- Lead category-level GTM strategy and campaigns in partnership with brand, comms, and demand gen
- Manage and mentor Product Marketers, setting priorities and ensuring quality of deliverables
- Serve as the primary partner to Sales Leadership, Solution Engineering, and Value Engineering for category-level alignment
- Track and report on category-level KPIs tied to pipeline growth, awareness, and adoption
