Who you are

This is a role for someone who wants to shape how the product develops, not just execute a backlog
Minimum 6 years of fullstack engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems
Deep experience in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript with strong command of CSS
Production experience with LLM integration, including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, function calling, evals, or guardrails
Experience with one or more: FastAPI, Laravel, Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, ECharts
Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and build systems that surface them clearly
Experience with web metrics, monitoring, and observability tooling
Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, applied to real engineering constraints
Works well in a small, fast-moving team and owns outcomes, not just tickets

What the job involves

We're looking for a senior fullstack engineer that will implement new products and features end to end
You'll design and build across the full stack, work closely with product and design to turn complex data into tools clients use daily, and contribute to the code review standards and architecture decisions that keep the codebase healthy as the team grows
Design and ship full-stack features across a data-intensive platform used by real estate investment teams
Build and maintain features that put LLMs to work in production, including RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks
Lead architectural decisions for backend systems built to handle continued growth in data volume and client load
Set engineering standards across code reviews, testing, monitoring, and observability

Our take

We all use a building in some capacity whether that be for work, or to live. The question is - do we know the impact that the property has socially or environmentally? The reality is that the real estate sector contributes an estimated 20% to the world’s carbon emissions, as well as having several other environmental impacts.

Scaler collects ESG (environmental, social, and governance) data to better understand and encourage the real estate industry to do better in this field. With that promise, the company could make a vast impression on the climate crisis, alongside bringing light to the other aspects that ESG data covers.
