Who you are

What the job involves
- In this role you will spend 90% of your time on the phone convincing stores to get onboard and save food with us. We will ensure you develop all the skills you’ll need to be successful

- In this role, you are the first point of contact for the store and will be responsible for the full sales cycle. Going through a list of leads we provide you, you will make a minimum of 100 calls per day through direct business development - the rest of the job is about onboarding stores and ensuring a good pipeline management of leads for the business
- Cold call new prospects, min. 100 calls a day to introduce and sell the value of Too Good To Go to them
- Take the stores through the signup process (which can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours)
- Be responsible for the store the first 28 days of the partner journey, helping new stores use our marketplace app and other tools, ensuring they are fully informed and on boarded as a Too Good To Go partner and completing the post-sales process
- Maintain and organise a solid pipeline of opportunities through Salesforce based on the monthly leads you are given
- Join weekly meetings with the Growth team to ensure smooth transition after the 28 days and ensure that they are aware of stores ready to be handed over

- You'll "pitch" Too Good To Go to members of our sales leadership team
- Step 3: 30-minute interview with our Head of Sales
- You'll have a chance to share your interest in sales and learn more about our sales process
Our take
With more than one-third of food wasted in shops and restaurants, tonnes of otherwise quality goods are unnecessarily lost. Too Good To Go connects customers to restaurants and stores that have unsold, surplus food, offering steep discounts. Through this, businesses can sell surplus meals that would've otherwise gone to waste, and the environment wins as no food is wasted.
The company has certainly found its niche with sustainability-conscious consumers (a group that is growing in size as environmentally-focused consumers get more spending power). Too Good To Go's app has over 90M users across 18 countries and 215,000+ partners including retailers, hotels and restaurants such as ALDI, Carrefour, Accor and YO! Sushi.
The company is also creating a food waste movement website intended to be an informative source of knowledge regarding the issue. This is part of a wider strategy at raising awareness of the food waste problem, to get more users on board and further help the planet. A 200 million euro fund raise is allegedly in the works for 2025, which would push the platform to unicorn status.
