Role
Who you are
- 10+ years of experience in communications, PR, corporate communications, or a related field
- In-house experience building and scaling the comms function in high-growth companies without an existing playbook
- Experience with executive communications and building leadership presence
- Strong relationships with tech, business, fintech and/or insurtech press
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic and analytical thinker who can distill complex technical and product concepts into compelling stories for different audiences
- Thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments
- Bias-to-action: you move fast and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty
- Experience managing multiple brands / product lines is a plus

What the job involves
- As Head of Communications, you’ll partner with the CEO to define how the market sees us while building our external and internal communications strategy as the first dedicated hire
- Own our communications and PR strategy to elevate our market presence with investors, candidates, customers and partners
- Craft compelling narratives that position us as the category-defining innovator in AI and Insurance
- Shape investor-facing messaging and materials alongside the CEO
- Advance executive visibility through thought leadership and public presence
- Cultivate strong relationships with press and influencers
- Manage internal communications in partnership with key stakeholders
