Start-up experience or exposure to a multi-currency environment is advantageous
Exposure to accounting and external reporting standards, especially HGB and IFRS
Experience with Workday ERP or other ERP systems is helpful, but not essential
Fluent in English (spoken and written), German a plus

What the job involves

Provide operational support within the accounting and finance team. Hands-on, transactional, and is pivotal to the effective operations of the company's finance function
Process sales and purchase invoices
Provide support with payment runs and banking transactions
Expense management and processing
Assist with reconciliations e.g. Bank, fixed assets
Shared finance mailbox maintenance
Timely and accurate updates to management reporting
Support with ad hoc projects within the group
Support in group audits
Participate in continuous improvement projects
Provide support with period-end closing processes for local GAAP and IFRS
Liaise with external service providers, auditors, and tax advisors
