Who you are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study
- MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering highly preferred
- 5+ years of work experience in related field preferred
- Technically sound and knowledgeable about networking technologies – L2/L3 wired network protocols, TCP/IP communications, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, RDMA, NVMe
- Experience with “as-a-Service” consumption and GTM models
- Strong technical capacity
- Understanding of and experience with OEM relationships
- Exceptional presentation
- Ability to drive culture of quality, personal accountability, and strong relationships
What the job involves
- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products our customers will love
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements that deliver real world value
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
- Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates HPE and its features across primary market segments
- Mastery of product management fundamentals in product, price, place and promotion as well as the 3Cs
- Knowledge of disruption theory and business maximization tactics and strategy
