Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, and content strategy
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices
- Experience in advising and collaborating with multiple brands or clients
- Proficiency in utilizing content management tools and analytics platforms
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas
What the job involves
- Resonance is seeking an Associate Creative Director (Design). This creative leader will concept, design, produce and oversee design initiatives for both the Resonance corporate brand and our portfolio of consumer brands
- As a Manager, you’ll be shaping the expression of our brands across social platforms
- Create engaging and relevant content for Resonance's corporate brand and owned brands across social channels around our key pillars: creators, sustainability and a new system for the fashion industry
- Produce high-quality social content for brands with a B2B focus (Resonance) and B2C (brands to come!) that we develop in-house
- Foster and grow an active and engaged online community around Resonance's mission and values
- Build a network of skilled freelance support to bolster our channel creative and community building strategies
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize content strategies
- Collaborate with portfolio brands to advise on content strategies, ensuring alignment with Resonance's overarching goals
- Develop a community building strategy that can be leveraged across a portfolio of brands
- Advise portfolio brands on community-building strategies and engagement best practices
Our take
ONE is an inventory-free operating system for the fashion industry built by Resonance Companies, and designed to make the clothes market more sustainable. Every year, almost a third of the clothing made ends up thrown away - mostly due to the over-stocking of inventory in warehouses by big brands. By presenting a means for fashion brands to manufacture their products on-demand and more local, ONE is helping to reduce this massive contribution to the waste crisis.
Through the ONE platform, brands can manage all their operations from "inspiration to closet", with the means to design, market and sell in one place. When customers place an order, it is then laser cut and printed at one of ONE's facilities, and the resulting patterns are assembled by a sewing team before its drop shipped to the buyer. The bonus for brands is that they accrue no additional costs for warehousing or the disposal of excess stock - and they lose no production investment in items that do not sell well.
Although ONE's model is already efficient at reducing waste, it may be a while before its ultimate vision of an entirely sustainable production pipeline is achieved. That said, it has taken a step in the right direction with the opening of a New York assembly hub so it no longer shipping patterns to the Dominican Republic for assembly. The company will need to pull more brands onto the platform to gather momentum, but it is certainly one to watch as it develops into the future.
