Who you are

  • The ideal candidate will be a seasoned digital marketer with a unique skillset – combining creative copyrighting and content creation skills with those of a data-driven mindset
  • The ideal candidate will live near a Local Kitchens location to ensure the ability to create and craft real time social media content
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or similar
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in content creation, marketing, communications
  • A strong understanding of industry trends and the digital space – including web, social and emerging technologies
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in content creation, video production, and storytelling
  • Experience with web analytics platforms including Google Analytics and social media monitoring software
  • Photography and /or videography skills to capture real-time content
  • Proficient in content and layout design tools such as Adobe InCopy and InDesign
  • Excellent copywriting and written communication
  • Solid understanding of digital content practices such as SEO, SMO, and PPC

What the job involves

  • Local kitchens is seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to lead the brand's social media strategy, content creation, and brand storytelling across all guest-facing, digital platforms
  • This individual will play a crucial role in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our audience, capturing and producing engaging content for the brand’s social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube), driving our paid media efforts with online advertising and SEO/SEM, and assisting in email content strategy and execution to drive frequency and brand affinity
  • He or she will be responsible for growing the brand’s online audience, guest engagement, and bringing our compelling story to the masses
  • Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and objectives, including a channel-by-channel playbook and tone-of-voice guidelines
  • Develop and manage overarching content calendar and day-to-day posting on all brand platforms
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns and track performance against these metrics
  • Craft compelling narratives and engaging content that highlights Local Kitchens as a category-defining brand in the restaurant space, showcasing our unique offerings and in-store experiences to drive guest engagement and audience growth
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos in-store to create authentic and visually appealing content
  • Utilize video editing skills to produce polished and professional content
  • Respond to all guest comments, questions and feedback across social platforms according to company standards
  • Partner with designer and brand to build hyper-relevant, digital-first content to support our campaigns, chef collaborations, menu rollouts and new store openings
  • Drive real-time social media campaigns to engage in cultural, consumer and trending conversations
  • Leverage the brand’s digital properties including website, review sites and social media platforms to grow brand awareness
  • Oversee paid social campaign planning, budget allocation, and execution tied to menu launches and evergreen brand campaigns to grow awareness and increase sales
  • Provide strategic point of view on necessary ad creatives, formats, messaging, and landing pages to improve performance of paid media campaigns
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align paid social efforts with overall digital marketing strategies and business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in SEO and SEM to enhance the brand's online presence
  • Analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics to inform content and paid media strategies
  • Assist with email marketing calendar strategy and management
  • You’ll work with an innovative team, collaborate with some of the most exciting chefs in the industry, and make an impact in a company that’s growing fast

The combination of on-site hospitality staffing and the gap in the market-plugging digital app aims to be a boutique service that puts the customer first. Its success so far has led to the development of a real estate sector within the company.
