Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of proven experience as an Account Executive or in a strategic sales role, selling cyber or information security consulting and/or managed services experience
- Proficiency in cybersecurity technologies and competitive offerings
- Proven ability to drive enterprise-level account expansion and new business development to meet high sales quotas
- Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
- Experience with account planning and forecasting
- Ability to establish and grow professional, consultative relationships with our clients, up to and including the c-level
- Experience with formal sales training methodologies, including MEDDPICC, and tools, including Salesforce
- Responsive; you prioritize timely communication and action, minimizing wait times
- A long-term outlook, demonstrating genuine dedication and investment in achieving goals
What the job involves
- We're seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive sales efforts
- You'll identify new business opportunities within our strategic accounts, nurture existing customer relationships, and oversee incoming sales initiatives
- With a track record of success in securing new business from mid-market to large enterprise accounts, you excel as a hunter
- Alongside acquiring new clients, you'll prioritize exceptional service for existing ones

- Drive sales cycles to close new business for our consulting services and managed services product, Cosmos
- Expand current market presence and strengthen relationships with existing customers
- Lead technical, solution-oriented sales conversations that help clients develop a clear vision of their problems and the solutions
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within already established strategic accounts
- Partner with sales engineers, technical account managers, and the executive team to build relationships within all levels of key strategic accounts
- Serve as an escalation point for sales, delivery, and client issues
- Provide accurate sales forecasting
- Independently and collaboratively build pipeline to exceed sales quotas
- Network within client organizations to influence decision makers
- Articulate company value proposition and services to become a trusted advisor
- Identify new business opportunities and prepare detailed account development plans, engagement strategies and targets for each account within your assigned portfolio
- Take ownership of opportunities and forecast outcomes accurately
- Provide clear documentation that drives sales and project success
- Manage scoping surveys, proposals, and legal paperwork
- Ensure customer requirements and quality standards are met throughout the sales cycle

Cybersecurity software is used by many businesses across the world to mitigate their cyber risk, yet breaches are still common. A prime reason for this is the lack of visibility businesses have into the roots of their IT and data stacks, making it difficult to truly understand and prevent future attacks.
Bishop Fox sets itself apart through its offensive cyber threat prevention platform which is focused on applying a "forward defense" approach (with risk visibility and prevention instead of reaction). The company achieves this by mapping IT stacks to facilitate real-time visibility of attack perimeters, applying complex real-world cyber threat scenarios to assess resilience, and conducting continuous attack emulations.
The attack surface management category has grown in importance in recent years, especially for software. As a result, the market has become increasingly crowded. Bishop Fox has, however, raised impressive funding which it will use towards growing its team and expanding its product offering in order to further set themselves apart.
