Manager of Data Engineering, Jobber

• A proven track record as a software/data engineer, as well as time spent in a leadership role guiding a team to deliver high-quality software
• A strong foundation in software/data engineering, including expertise in software design, familiarity with data tools and technologies (including SQL), hands-on experience in systems design,and a deep understanding of data best practices and modeling techniques
• The ability to be agile in an agile environment. You’ll need to be able to lead and teach your team to adapt to change, while also thinking critically and creatively to find answers to problems

• The Data Integration team is responsible for managing the data ingestion and integration platforms, building optimized data models for external CRM system integrations, handling real-time data synchronization, and enhancing self-serve capabilities to speed up delivery
• The team collaborates closely with the Data Platform team to ensure seamless integration across systems
• As the Engineering Manager for the Data Integration team, you will lead a team of software and data engineers who manage the data ingress/egress systems, administer the Data Integration Platform, and handle real-time data transformations & integrations
• Reporting to the Director of Data, you will also partner with the team’s Technical Program Manager to prioritize initiatives and collaborate on building quarterly roadmaps
• A key aspect of this role is managing the team’s performance, supporting individual growth, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and scaling the team as needed
• You will also play a key role in shaping technical decisions, collaborating with technical leads, principals, and distinguished engineers
