Who you are
- Previous People or HR experience is not required. This position is open for internships
- Native or near-native French, plus professional English
- Highly organized, motivated and autonomous, comfortable owning both routine cycles and one-off exceptions
- Tech-savvy: comfortable with new tools, AI and automations
- Based in Paris (hybrid, office presence required). Open to an apprentice/alternance profile
- Strong bias for action and “no task is too small” mindset: gets stuff done and doesn’t wait until asked
- Fast learner and adaptable: able to get up to speed quickly and adapt to the pace of Morpho’s fast-changing environment

What the job involves
- As Morpho grows, the People team builds the infrastructure that helps managers and ICs operate with more clarity and autonomy. This role makes that infrastructure work well every day
- You will work across onboarding, workplace, internal events, People operations and ad hoc issues. It is a hands-on role for someone who notices what needs to be done, takes ownership and looks for simpler ways to operate
- Help with the day-to-day operations of our Paris office, across three areas:
- Employee Experience & Office
- Support office operations, including liaison with the building and workspace provider, room bookings, deliveries, and on-site coordination, to keep the Paris office running without friction
- Help coordinate office vendors, supplies, equipment, and facilities requests so the team always has what it needs
- Support office budgeting and purchasing, and track company assets such as laptops and equipment with Finance for depreciation
- Support offsite and onsite logistics so team gatherings run smoothly
- People Operations
- Support People Operations for employees across our global workforce as needed
- Operate employee systems across the company so employee information stays accurate and secure, and provide backup coverage for People and HR admin during absences
- Payroll & Administration
- Collect and validate payroll changes, benefits updates, PTO, and supporting documentation to keep payroll clean and compliant
- Assist with invoices, expense tracking and approvals, and People-related vendor administration
- First 30 days:
- Learned onboarding flows, and helped with routine office liaison, supplies, and deliveries
- Has run onboarding for at least one new joiner, shadowed, and knows where everything lives
- First 3 months:
- Trusted, able to jump independently on main topics and escalates exceptions only
- Delivers without needing to be chased (eg: can support on office space management: supplies, deliveries, room bookings)
- First 6 months:
- Has simplified or improved some of the people operations
- Consistently makes other team’s lives easier
Our take
Morpho Labs’ Morpho Blue is a blockchain layer for protocols and apps to be built upon. Empowering the ability to externalise risk management, it allows blockchain creators to integrate the layer into their own risk and compliance systems. Ultimately, Morpho is a lending protocol built upon open-source algorithms.
Originally founded as an optimisation layer for interest rate improvements, it has now evolved into a base layer for builders of crypto lending applications. With the intention of making DeFi protocols more accessible and easy to use through a user-controlled risk assessment platform, the company has attracted significant interest from big-hitting investors such as Coinbase Ventures and Variant. Morpho intends to use these funds to accelerate its mission to make financial infrastructure a public good.
