Strategic Finance Manager, Abnormal Security

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, investment banking, corporate development or management consulting. Prior experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or high-growth tech companies is a plus
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with a strong ability to turn data into actionable insights. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is required; experience with SQL is also a plus. In this role, you will need to build from scratch and partner with the necessary teams to gather information and solve each problem
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Work Ethic: Highly ambitious with a desire to take ownership of all aspects of your work, a team-first attitude, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

• As a Strategic Finance Manager, you will be responsible for building, managing, and maintaining key financial models that drive the company’s strategic decisions
• You will partner closely with senior leadership and various departments, such as GTM, R&D, and other business teams to provide financial insights that support our go-to-market strategies, operational efficiency, and overall growth strategies
• This role will also involve enhancing our forecasting processes, creating executive-level reports, and driving key performance metrics
• Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain complex financial models that support strategic decision-making for GTM, R&D, and other business teams
• Comfortable taking in problem statements from the business and building financial models from scratch in order to help solve those problems and enhance decision making
• Long Range Planning: Develop and refine long-term forecasting models to support company-wide strategic planning and resource allocation
• Financial Benchmarking: Drive the benchmarking of our financial profile against public company peers to ensure we are optimizing our investments as we approach IPO
• Monitor industry trends and identify key valuation metrics that correlate with premium valuations, guiding financial planning to maximize shareholder returns
• Will participate in financial due diligence of future M&A and capital markets activities
• Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform key business decisions
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all of Finance, GTM, R&D, and other business teams to guide and influence strategic choices and operational strategies
• Reporting & Metrics: Develop high-quality financial reports and dashboards for executives, summarizing key business drivers into essential metrics that highlight the company’s financial performance
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and models, ensuring scalability and efficiency in strategic planning
