Who you are
- You love using data to drive business impact—and have the ability to transform business questions into data requirements and data into business insights
- You have extensive hands-on experience working with data analytics in a data-driven company (around five years)
- You have experience working cross-functionally, using data to improve our understanding of our user base and develop new products and features
- You have the ability to perform analytics tasks, summarise these, and report findings
- You have experience with SQL, Python, Tableau (or a similar tool), statistics, and data modeling
- You have an experimental mindset, confidence in the power of experimenting/testing, and experience with running/analyzing multiple experiments
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Product Data Analyst to help accelerate the growth of WeTransfer’s Subscription business
- You’ll be part of a high-performing product analytics team, helping shape our roadmap and collaborating with product teams across Amsterdam, Seattle, and Los Angeles to drive organization-wide projects to improve our analytics capability and unlock a more data-centric approach to decision-making
- You’ll be involved with everything from data source to presentations to the business on how to operationalize the insights
- Be it the fundamental design of the company’s data model, performing deep-dive analysis, conducting research to answer complex questions, or supporting the team in developing their technical skills
- Analyze problems and issues using data science techniques to provide insight to drive business performance
- Deliver product experiments, model improvements, deep dives, data requests, and other ad-hoc analytics projects
- Improving both technical and non-technical work processes, including improving cross-team communication and workflows
- Measure the impact of existing and new product features on our key metrics through experimentation and post-launch analysis
- Support strategic analytics initiatives to inform our product roadmap in your dedicated area

The company differentiates itself through the fact that it's a certified B corporation. Even though WeTransfer is mainly known for its file-sharing service, the company operates a number of other services, such as Collect (tool encouraging creation and collaboration), Paper (sketching app) and Paste (collaborative presentation tool). One of the main goals of the organisation in the following period is to raise awareness of these services.
Over the coming years, WeTransfer is looking to continue its product development to ensure it remains competitive against the likes of Dropbox and Google Drive.
