Who you are

Prior experience in a relevant finance role (2 years +)
Previous experience in preparing multi-currency accounting reconciliations and analysis
Good Google docs and Excel skills
Strong attention to detail, including ability to spot numerical errors
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Demonstrable ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills, you love getting things done
Resourceful and flexible, and can effectively prioritize your work/time
Excellent communication skills when liaising internally and externally in written and verbal forms
Tech-savvy
University degree and qualified or part-qualified accountancy certification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) required
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate may need to undertake a basic criminal record check, the cost of which will be covered by Benivo

What the job involves

Lead on accounting reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions in Xero
Preparing, auditing, and processing invoices to clients
Manage accounts receivable and payable
Assisting in the preparation of budgets, managing records and receipts
Prepare VAT returns on a quarterly basis
Support the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties
Providing support to clients and help solve financial disputes raised by our sales team
Being a key point of contact for other teams on financial and accounting matters, and other operational support
Developing an in-depth knowledge of Benivo products and processes
Supporting the Finance Director with projects and tasks when required
