Role
Who you are
- 15+ overall years driving strategic partnerships/alliances/Business development at a startup technology company
- Related sales/BD leadership experience (For now, focus is on the BD side and not sales functions like distributor engagement and sales channel creation)
- Understanding of the cloud ecosystem (Servers, CSP/Datacenter, 5G base stations, and preferred products and technologies)
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical degree (preferred); MBA preferred
- Demonstrable experience in technologies related to security domain, AI, advanced hardware, datacenter domains and next generation Internet technologies
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements, including interpreting legal documents and work with attorneys to complete agreements
- A proven track record of growth

- Evangelized new product concepts with customers of cloud service providers, like Banking, Government, Military, Healthcare and Infrastructure CISOs and have reach and connections with them

- Work closely with engineering teams with the division as well as with the customers to be able to talk about product features and benefits in the market
- Make recommendations to potential new markets we should serve that align with our offerings
- Help expand the company ecosystem by extending the partnerships with emerging markets leaders and across new technology and application
- Have the ability to create thoughtful presentations both internally and externally to convincingly tell the applicable story
Our take
With the rapidly changing nature of cyber-security threat, security technologies must continuously evolve to keep up. This can be difficult for hardware solutions due to the lengthy development processes, but Axiado is delivering a hardware solution that is built for the speedily changing digital security environment.
Hardware, as opposed to software, has long development times, and it is more complicated to update, relying on collaboration between different vendors and manufacturers. Axiado’s Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU) is a new category of processors dedicated for security, using AI to detect unusual behaviour, enabling attacks to be detected in real-time and responses to be made immediately. Additionally, it is designed to accept in-field updates which will allow it to evolve alongside cyber-threats.
Axiado has seen impressive investment, reflecting the high level of support for its novel approach, and funds will be used to launch the TCU. The company has made several strategic partnerships with experts and leaders in the industry to ensure a good product-market fit.
