Role
Who you are
- Hands-on administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment, and ideally a technical firm, although not essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and can navigate MS Teams and SharePoint effectively
- Self-starter and well-motivated to deliver in a highly-pressurised environment
- Organised, systematic and proactive in the day-to-day deliverables/tasks
- Strong team player who promotes a positive and professional image
- Ability to communicate effectively both in person and in writing internally and externally
- Social, outgoing and easily able to build relationships
What the job involves
- Office Facilities:
- Manage the day to day requests from the local teams to ensure that the office facilities are maintained and in good working order, including but not limited to:
- Toilets and common spaces are maintained with our suppliers. N.B you will not be expected to clean toilets!
- Maintain signage, office equipment, consumables, etc
- Supplier management for supporting contract services including Cleaners, M&E, Maintenance, etc
- Assist with Ekco Events, held at regional offices
- Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding process with the People team, including delivery and return of equipment to London via courier(s)
- Travel to other Ekco locations as required, which can all be reached by train
- Compliance:
- Responsible for arranging activities to ensure we are legally compliant with areas such as Fire Risk Management, PAT Testing, Legionella Testing, Water quality, and office related HSE (training to be provided)
- Management of all Health & Safety and Fire Training
- Documentation:
- Help to maintain up to date documentation in supplier files, and contracts are clearly located and available
- Ensure dates are maintained for services renewals, contractors, etc
- General Team Support:
- Assist the procurement team with any relevant tasks as required
- Book travel and accommodation for UK staff as needed on request
- Maintain Ekco UK central corporate card, ensuring expenses & invoices are compiled upload regularly for finance

In the longer term, it seems set to continue its growth through further acquisitions - such as that of Solsoft in 2025 - to become Europe's leading managed cloud and cybersecurity provider.
