What the job involves
- The Receptionist/Office Manager is responsible for managing the reception area and ensuring smooth office operations. This role combines administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills to maintain an efficient, welcoming, and professional office environment
- The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a positive experience for both employees and visitors while ensuring the office operates seamlessly
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees with professionalism and warmth
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain the front desk and common areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and welcoming
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and organization
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement to meet staff needs
- Coordinate with vendors for office maintenance, repairs, and services
- Develop and enforce office policies and procedures to optimize workflow
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization
- Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, functional, and safe for employees
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including workspace setup and access coordination
- Assist in planning company events, meetings, and activities, coordination of catering and logistics for team gatherings or client meetings

Using AI and machine learning, patient’s data is analysed to evaluate their ability to pay, making it possible to pre-emptively support those in financial difficulty.
PayZen works for patients and medical providers. Providers can expect to get a much higher collection rate with accelerated cash flow, without having to pay software costs or program fees, whist patients receive affordable and flexible access to care without interest or fees. A patient’s debt doesn’t increase, as they never have to pay more than the cost of the service.
While the Buy-Now-Pay-Later space in healthcare is becoming increasingly overcrowded - Afterpay and Sezzle, for example, allow customers to pay their medical bills in interest-free instalments - PayZen's strong funding history puts it in a good position from which to grow. It has used funds to accelerate its mission and launch new ventures such as the "Care Card", that offers the benefits of its payment plans in the form of a physical and virtual debit card.
