What the job involves
- Payments is a core product for Cash Management and one of the growth areas in Deutsche Bank’s strategy
- In order to support the growth ambitions and to remain a leading global player in the competitive payments market, significant investment in the payment infrastructure of Deutsche Bank are applied
- The team is delivering set of key applications in Payment processing platform based on modern technology stack, the applications are single entry point for all payments in the bank
- Monthly processing volume of the applications is over €100 Billion of payment transactions across 42 countries from Europe, APAC and Americas
- As a Senior Java Engineer (f/m/x) you will be responsible for full life-cycle of development tasks, starting from specification and design to successful implementation and level 3 production support
- Working with BAs on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design, document business and functional requirements, design decisions and API
- Design and develop new functionality. Coding and testing, reviewing other team member’s changes
- Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
- Contribute to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
- When product and architecture experience gained, mentor and direct more junior developers
- Provide SL3 (Service Level 3) support for the application
