Role
Who you are
- Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or business, or equivalent experience
- Your background includes:
- 3 years’ related experience, preferably in a FinTech environment
- Experience with ERP systems, Accounts Payable, Digital Payments/Mass Pay, or other experience related to the the digital economies space- i.e.. compliance/ tax automation
- Nice to have: API experience and/or any coding/programming language skills
- Your skills include the ability to:
- Gather moderately complex technical requirements and partner with the sales team to customize Tipalti products to address and solve customer challenges
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of processes and product domain
- Build and deliver compelling value-driven presentations
- Build trusted relationships and partnerships with internal and external teams and individuals, and engage with all levels in an organization, from C-Level to front-line
- Thrive in a startup business environment
- Results-oriented, with a focus on meeting sales targets

What the job involves
- The Solution Consultant (Pre-Sales) a product expert and key member of the sales team in presenting and championing Tipalti Mass Pay products and solutions to customers and potential customers, and in transitioning the customer to Tipalti’s implementation team post-close
- This particular Solutions Consulting team works with customers and prospective customers in the following Digital industry sectors: AdTech, Gig Economy, Gaming, Affiliates & Influencer Networks, and E-commerce
- As a technical product expert, leads customer discovery sessions and product demonstrations, articulating Tipalti’s solutions to customer and potential customer C-Level and front-line representatives
- Partner with product to drive a deeper understanding of prospect/customer needs
- Maintains awareness and knowledge of customer experiences, along with industry and competitor trends and intelligence
- Participate in assigned projects and initiatives, primarily within sales, but may include partnering with marketing and customer success

Despite such innovations, many workflows are still conducted manually, leading to time-consuming, repetitive and inefficient workflows.
Tipalti provides a global payments, accounts payable and purchase order automation platform, with tools for each area to reduce manual workflows and optimize operations. The platform’s functionalities are designed to be flexible for the scaling of growing businesses, helping to optimize financial visibility, efficiency and control without the need for business infrastructure changes.

It continues to develop its offering, with a recent influx of funding supporting the incorporation of agentic artificial intelligence capabilities.
