Who you are
- If you thrive on hunting new business, building trusted executive relationships, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships, this role gives you the platform, resources, and autonomy to make it happen
- We’re seeking a high-performing Account Executive or Senior Account Executive with a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in the construction industry, who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- 5+ years of experience closing complex enterprise B2B deals in ConTech / construction SaaS, ideally combined with hands-on on-site construction experience and established relationships with construction executives and project teams
- Proven sales track record with clients in Canada
- True “hunter” mentality with a strong closing instinct
- Exceptional listening skills with a keen ability to understand and align with customer and stakeholder needs
- Proven ability to manage and influence complex deals involving 10–20+ stakeholders
- Uncompromising integrity, demonstrated through consistent and transparent actions
- Positive energy, resilience, and a great sense of humor
- Advanced stakeholder management and networking abilities across multiple levels of an organization
- Passion for construction and/or technology, with a belief in the transformative power of innovation in the industry
- Highly target-driven, persistent, and adaptable under pressure
- Confident in engaging with diverse stakeholders across various roles, countries, and cultures; whether in person, by phone, or via video
What the job involves
- This is your chance to take the lead in driving Buildots’ growth into untapped markets. As a New Logo Account Executive or Senior Account Executive, you’ll be the tip of the spear; identifying, engaging, and closing high-value opportunities in the construction industry
- You won’t just sell a product—you’ll champion a transformative technology that’s redefining how projects are delivered
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas within targeted prospective accounts
- Drive outbound prospecting initiatives while nurturing and expanding existing relationships to 7-figure annual spend
- Take a consultative, partnership-driven approach—building trust, credibility, and long-term value with clients
- Strategically map accounts to identify growth opportunities and deliver measurable business impact
- Build, manage, and maintain a healthy, high-quality sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting
- Develop deep, enduring customer relationships that foster loyalty and advocacy
- Proactively prioritize and follow through on customer needs to maximize mutual business outcomes
Our take
Despite accounting for 13% of the world’s GDP, construction productivity continues to lag, only growing 1% in the past two decades. A large part of that story seems to be the disconnect between managers and on-site workers.
Buildots is attempting to tackle this element of construction management with a unique blend of artificial intelligence and hardware. For example, one of the startup’s flagship products image processing software from a fleet of hardhat-mounted 360-degree cameras.
The company had a very successful 2024, having raised substantial funding and launching its AI-driven Delay Forecast feature. These are big moves for the company and position it well for a future of continued success.
