Who you are
- 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in a small start-up or hospitality environment
- Adaptable, with a high tolerance for change and a sense of urgency. No task is too big or too small

- High degree of time management, research and organizational skills
- Able to work well autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is important
- This is a hybrid role with a 3-day a week requirement in our NYC office
What the job involves
- As the People Operations Specialist, you will join our global People & Culture Team in supporting our employees from the moment they join Solidus Labs and throughout their journey, helping cultivate our company culture in NYC and beyond
- Celebrate and motivate our teams by planning team events, creating meaningful individual gifting and recognition programs
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure new team members get up to speed rapidly
- Handle all day-to-day office routines to make sure that all run smoothly, including supply and snack orders, team lunches and swag orders
- Maintain US IT equipment inventory and organize vendor support for troubleshooting
- Support global internal communications efforts by preparing for and participating in companywide meetings and on-site/off-sites
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to CEO, including calendar management and meeting support
Our take
As cryptocurrency and other digital assets edge closer to the mainstream, investors still harbor concerns about their integrity and security. Solidus is one of a number of companies trying to alleviate these fears through surveillance and risk monitoring software to detect manipulation, fraud, and security threats on cryptocurrency trading platforms.
The fact that Solidus convened the Crypto Market Integrity Coalition, which has been joined by over 30 companies including the likes of Coinbase, Robinhood, and Deltect, also highlights the position of respect that it has carved out. After recently securing major funding, the company is now focusing on accelerating the deployment of its capabilities and expanding R&D.
While crypto exchanges are currently under increased scrutiny, this is a sign of their increasing appeal to investors and mainstream businesses, and security and compliance solutions such as those provided by Solidus are likely to see growing demand as a result.
