Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of relevant experience in equity research, private equity, or venture capital, including at least 3 years of direct Corporate Finance experience
- Deep financial and business acumen, with an understanding of technology or marketplace models
- Strong analytical skills; able to break down complex problems and guide decision-making with data and logic
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver financial insights with clarity, credibility, and influence
- Effective project management skills; experienced in driving cross-functional processes with structure and urgency
- Sharp attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to go deep when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Corporate Finance Senior Lead to shape Faire’s consolidated financial model, guide investment decisions, ensure operational excellence, and partner with senior leaders to drive efficient, long-term growth
- The Corporate Finance team’s mission is to translate strategy into clear financial plans and performance insights that inform decision-making at the highest levels of the company
- This team works closely with the CFO and cross-functional leadership to improve capital allocation, enforce investment discipline, and elevate the financial narrative
- Lead consolidated financial planning across cross-functional teams, ensuring business priorities are tied to financial outcomes
- Deliver actionable insights that guide resource allocation and investment decisions
- Drive high-quality financial narratives for executive and board audiences, distilling complexity into clear, concise, and strategic takeaways
- Improve and automate planning infrastructure by building scalable systems, processes, and reporting frameworks
- Analyze and explain variances against plan, helping teams course-correct as needed
- Manage key company-wide deliverables, including forecasting cycles, budget updates, and monthly reporting packages
