What the job involves
- This is a brilliant opportunity for someone at the start of their People & Talent career who wants to learn, grow, and make a real impact in a fast-paced, scaling up, values-driven business
- As our People & Talent Assistant, you'll be at the heart of how we look after our people — supporting the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to day-to-day HR administration and employee support
- You'll work closely with the Head of People & Talent and sit within a small, supportive team that also includes another People & Talent Assistant, a Talent Manager and a Learning & Development Manager
- No two days will look the same. You might be screening candidates’ CVs one morning, updating employee records on HRIS the next, coordinating onboarding for a new starter, and helping prepare data for a report — all while being a friendly, reliable point of contact for the people across our business

- Support the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to day-to-day HR administration and offboarding
- Assist with recruitment by screening CVs, conducting telephone interviews, coordinating interviews, and ensuring candidates have a positive experience throughout
- Coordinate onboarding for new starters, working with team leads to ensure everyone is set up for success from day one
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on our HRIS, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance
- Prepare and send HR documents including contracts, letters, and documents and policy updates
- Support the Head of People & Talent with employee relations queries, taking an empathetic and professional approach
- Create reports, track key HR metrics, and analyse data to support decision-making across the People & Talent function
- Coordinate L&D events and training sessions and contribute to improving our people processes
