Role
Who you are
- You know the SaaS sales cycle end-to-end
- You have worked in a similar position before and showed excellent performance closing new contracts as well as growing a customer and making them successful
- You are interested in current web technologies and feel comfortable speaking with technical buyers and developers
- You worked as an SDR before or have similar experience and know how to nurture leads and break into accounts
- You feel comfortable working in a team where everyone helps each other out
- Familiarity working with a remote-first company
- Excellent spoken and written English and German skills. You are a strong communicator, in presentations, calls, and emails
- We believe it is important to meet with our customers in person, which will require that you will be traveling frequently across DACH
- Located in Germany, Austria or Switzerland
What the job involves
- We're looking for an Senior Account Executive to join our sales team of driven Account Executives and savvy Solution Engineers
- You will be the first person on the ground in the DACH region and will directly report to Timo, our co-founder and Chief Customer Officer
- You will work with great customers like DVAG or Allianz to grow our footprint in the existing accounts, but ultimately your job will be to build the DACH territory
Our take
DevOps introduced more automation to the software development process and lifecycle, allowing new applications to be on the market at a quicker pace. But with progress comes changes and new requirements for developing, testing, and deploying applications, thus requiring transformation for modern monitoring systems.
Checkly is an active monitoring platform designed for developers. The API is programmable, flexible, and works well with JavaScript. Checkly allows cross-functional DevOps and engineering teams to run deep API monitoring and Javascript-powered flexible frontend tests across 20+ global data center locations.
The transaction monitoring tool makes it easy to regularly test interactions with front-end websites without having to actually write any code. Pricing for its services starts at $7 per month for individual developers, with plans for small teams starting at $29 per month. Looking ahead, funding will be used to expand Checkly’s engineering team and build out its platform.
