Our take
Fintech business Taulia provides working capital management solutions to help companies free up funds that are tied up in the supply chain. Taulia can help automate invoicing and payment processes, which in turn lowers the cost of handling support calls from suppliers who have had their invoices disappear into the ether. It also helps to optimize and maximise supplier discounts for those companies.
Taulia competes against rivals such as SAP Ariba by offering a far faster onboarding process, taking seconds instead of weeks, and an easier integration process. It has established itself as a market leader with over 1.8 million businesses using its technology to process over $500 billion annually. Its major clients include Airbus, Nissan and Vodafone.
Taulia was acquired by SAP in early 2022. Taulia's capital solution has since been integrated into SAP's supply chain product, but Taulia continues to operate independently as well. Having recently made a move into the Chinese and Singapore markets, it continues to expand its activities there and to further develop its product with additional services such as inventory management.
