What the job involves
- We’re seeking an enthusiastic Internal Communications Intern to join our People team at Tinder. In this role, you’ll work with our head of Internal Communications and other members of the People team to create content for employee-facing channels, including Tinder’s intranet
- Work closely with the head of Internal Communications on content for Tinder’s intranet, monthly company all-hands meetings, and other internal channels
- Work with other internal teams to coordinate and assist with their communication needs
- Serve as our internship program correspondent, sharing news and information about the Tindership program with the rest of the company
- Bring creative new ideas to the table

This, coupled with the global rise of smartphones, has created a strong tailwind for the app. However, Tinder faces new challenges from competitors like Hinge, Bumble, and Thursday, who all capitalise on similar "swipe-based" mechanics, potentially attracting users away from the platform.
To address this, Tinder is actively seeking ways to reinvent its core product. The company is exploring the development of "Tinderverse", a shared virtual reality experience. Additionally, it is testing "Tinder Coins", an in-app currency earned through positive user behavior, allowing access to premium features. These initiatives demonstrate Tinder's commitment to remaining at the forefront of the ever-evolving online dating landscape.
