Senior Backend Engineer, A5 Labs

• Solid programming skills in Python and Node.js
• Strong understanding and production experience working with Docker container environments

• In this role, you'll be working as part of our iGaming Platform team, focusing on building and deploying microservices in cloud-native environments like AWS. You will use technologies such as Python (Flask/Ariadne), RESTful web services, and Kafka to design scalable, resilient applications
• Building features from start to finish, ensuring they are efficiently integrated into our platform
• Contributing to technical analysis and design, evaluating trade-offs, and implementing best practices to deliver high-value, data-driven solutions
• Developing and maintaining distributed, event-based products and applications, while navigating the challenges and rewards of scaling in production environments
• Collaborating in an agile team, solving complex software problems through iterative development and deploying robust microservices in containerised environments (Docker)
• You'll be working on real-time applications, ensuring our data pipelines and microservices run smoothly and efficiently, while helping the team continuously scale our platform to meet evolving needs
