Who you are

You are a senior software developer with 4+ years of experience and a strong logical approach to solving software problems
You have built a commercial application of significant complexity using any object-oriented language
You have experience creating cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure etc)

What the job involves

We’re searching for people who want to join an early but fast growing team to do more than tick off tickets, but have a meaningful impact on the direction of our product and engineering culture
Solving interesting challenges (from designing AWS architectures to creating clinical algorithms to figuring out how to measure impact)
Delivering new features and functionality that bring value and impact our user experience through clean, testable code (we love TDD and DDD!)
Making key architectural and tooling decisions to ensure we keep our systems reliable and efficient
Improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our core systems
Working closely with our our clinical and UX teams to design experiments and implement complex clinical logic systems / algorithms
Helping create a culture of engineering excellence, through coaching, mentoring and collaborating with other engineers in your team as well as furthering your personal development

Moreover, a different study has found that 60% of employees reported pain associated with a musculoskeletal issue at any moment. Employers are thus legally required to provide employees with safe working environments, but the solutions currently implemented are usually superficial, with no real impact on employees' wellbeing.

Vitrue VIDA is a startup that solves this problem by using cutting-edge technologies developed with surgeons and professional athletes to enable early detection of musculoskeletal conditions and to provide desk workers with personalised treatment.
