Senior Revenue Accountant, Crusoe Energy Systems

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience: 2-4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software. Experience with Sage Intacct, Floqast, and Coupa is a plus
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 326

• Join our dynamic Accounting team as an Revenue Accountant lll, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining strong customer relationships both internally and externally, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving revenue recognition for our rapidly growing cloud services business
• You will be responsible for accounts receivable, month-end and year-end close
• Invoicing & Payments: Create and send invoices to customers for cloud services, cost reimbursements, and leases. Process payments and manage cash collections
• Customer Support: Resolve customer billing inquiries and issue credits within established thresholds
• Account Management: Create and maintain customer profiles and accounting data
• Credit Analysis: Analyze customer payment patterns and financial data to calculate expected credit losses under ASC 326
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile AR aging and associated clearing accounts
• Revenue Recognition: Review and calculate complex revenue share arrangements with partners. Collaborate with the revenue accounting team to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842
• Month-End & Year-End Close: Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Ad-hoc Reporting: Contribute to ad-hoc reporting and projects as requested
