Our take
Small to medium size companies represent a huge chunk of the economy, but remain underserved when it comes to technology. ShipMonk enables small to medium eCommerce brands to scale through its 4-in-1 cloud based software. This integrates with a company's inventory management, orders, warehousing and shipping systems.
To supplement its SaaS and offer real logistical value, ShipMonk operates a growing number of strategically located warehouses throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and the UK. This means that even the smallest eCommerce brands are able to deliver goods within just two days, while reducing shipping costs compared to traditional delivery channels.
Since launching in 2014, ShipMonkâs trajectory has been remarkable for a company that was largely bootstrapped without major funding. The 2020 pandemic caused demand for its services to boom, and the company has since scaled enormously - receiving huge financial investment and acquiring complementary businesses along the way. It also continues to open up new fulfillment centers as it broadens its global reach.
