Role
Who you are
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills developed in financial services, fintech, or B2B environment
- 7+ years of experience in Credit, Risk Management, Financial services or a finance related role with a clear data focus
- 2+ years managing and growing a team of underwriters preferable but not essential
- A strong track record incorporating technology and data driven desired outcomes
- Experience in fintech and B2B organizations is particularly interesting to us
- Ability to optimally analyze situations and make thoughtful decisions
- Proactive, self-directed, and adept at setting priorities, managing expectations, and problem-solving
- A collaborative and ambitious partner with strong communication skills and able to take a decision and execute, engage effectively at senior and executive levels
What the job involves
- We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Portfolio Credit Manager to develop a risk strategy for our new Revenue Based Financing (RBF) product
- The product will initially target the e-commerce and SaaS sectors which are new key markets for us as we scale globally. This role sits within the Credit Risk department whilst you will be working closely with other departments (such as but not limited to) Product, Tech, Data, Finance and applying your deep knowledge of industry trends to enhance the product
- You will be responsible for credit underwriting and portfolio management of the RBF product
- Create and execute a robust Portfolio Management strategy
- Assess the credit risk of e-commerce and SaaS companies by analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and add the extra mile with alternative data to find solutions to underwrite more efficiently and accurately
- Work closely with our dedicated Data Science team to improve automation and test new hypotheses
- Collaborate with our analytics team to design tools that improve reporting quality and add insights
- Monitor credit performances againstKPIs and recommend strategic adjustments when necessary
- Own credit underwriting policies and oversee periodic revisions and upgrades specific to the RBF product
- Contribute to new products design, geographic expansion decisions
- You help us scale the business, managing a good balance between portfolio growth and credit risk management
- You have mastered your understanding of the RBF product and verticals we operate in

Our take
UK-based Stenn Technologies is an international trade provider with a focus on servicing trade between Asia and developed markets. It provides fast, innovative financing options to fill in the funding gaps that can often arise in international supply chains, in turn, solving the working capital needs of suppliers, intermediaries, and buyers.
To date, the company's platform, which uses big data and tailored algorithms to analyse credit, fraud and compliance risks, has financed over $1B in transactions for SMEs across more than 70 countries.
Stenn has raised funding from Crayhill Capital Management LP, an established alternative asset management firm, and is utilising the capital gained to expand its capacity and help global suppliers to access and service buyers of their products. This will help push the company towards its goal of becoming the first choice in funding among SME exporters in Asia who wish to serve the global market.
