Who you are

Take initiative - we’re a small company still, so we’ll expect you to take ownership of whatever you work on
Experience in sales preferably in the wind energy/renewables or drone market
Availability to travel a small portion of your time (expected less than 25% of your time, to attend a few events or meetings per year), sufficient notice will be given
Good interpersonal and writing skills
Fluent in English
Ability to work well with a remote team
You must work and therefore be based in Europe Time Zone

Desirable

Knowledge of Wind and/or Solar European Market
European Languages are a plus
Clear understanding of Wind Operation & Maintenance (O & M)
Understanding of Artificial Intelligence Damage Detection
Experience with drone sales and business models
Experience with tenders
Experience in cold contact
Ability to generate trust and understand people’s needs
Engineering, technical or Business related degree and/ or equivalent experience

What the job involves

Contact new and existing customers through mail, telephone or Linkedin/ Sales Navigator with the support of our CRM system using your creative thinking skills
Update regularly our CRM system
Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
Initiate sales opportunities with potential customers
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for expansion
Develop and maintain business contacts in the region assigned to you (European Countries)
Attend and participate in industry events and conferences to increase company exposure and expand our customer base
Prepare and deliver presentations to customers and stakeholders to showcase company products and services
Develop and maintain comprehensive sales and marketing materials including sales pitches, proposal templates, and case studies to support the sales process
Organise and coordinate demos
Draft and send sales proposals for unit and inspection services as well as tender replies
Ensure all our customers receive an excellent level of service and satisfaction
Cross-functional team collaboration including with the Production, Operations, Customer Support and Marketing teams
Interact with the Development team to provide feedback from the market

Our take

Perceptual Robotics delivers drone-led, AI-powered autonomous inspection solutions with applications in renewable energy and other industries. The company's first product, Dhalion, is designed for wind turbine inspection, and is equipped with end-to-end capabilities covering data acquisition to defect identification.

As the green transition continues in full swing, Perceptual has been smart to select renewable energy as its first target industry. With Dhalion, in-depth wind turbine inspections can be completed autonomously and at speed - taking less than twenty minutes - with AI data processing enabling the collected data to be quickly and effectively analysed.

The company boasts a 14 percent increase in accurate fault detection through its robotics/AI combination, compared to expert humans, atop the fact that its autonomous solutions remove human workers from hazardous areas. With strong funding at its back, Perceptual Robotics is eyeing up new markets - including the US - and has plans to expand its product offering.
