Lead DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer, Partful (a SamsonVT Company)

• SamsonVT are challenging the way businesses look at and manage data with their Virtual Twin platform. Driving the convergence of Asset Management, Technical Publications and Big Data.
• In line with recent successes, SamsonVT are looking to expand their development team and are now recruiting key individuals to form the foundation of a rapidly expanding team.
• Proficient with infrastructure provisioning tools (CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Knowledge of infrastructure and web application security (Config, SecurityHub, GuardDuty, WAF etc)
• Relevant AWS certification(s)
• Experience designing, deploying and supporting serverless web applications (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront etc)
• Experience using Git for development and IaC projects
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, ideally with CodePipeline
• Node.js and/or Python experience
• Friendly
• Good communicator
• Engineering spirit (problem solver)
• Client-friendly (wouldn’t be afraid of working closely with a customer)

• Oversight and governance of cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with data security legislation and best practice.
• Work with development teams to design and implement secure, reliable and scalable applications and workloads in AWS.
• Maintain compliance and security controls and manage external security testing and auditing.
• Manage and support source control and CI/CD pipelines for development teams.
