Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or an equivalent degree from a recognized program, plus a minimum 10 years’ experience in business to business (B2B) enterprise software sales or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

What the job involves

Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the Key Account Manager is responsible for overseeing executive level commercial relationships, contract renewals, strategic pricing, account profitability, and driving software as a service (SAAS) product line sales opportunities
The role focuses on increasing the Company's committed annual recurring revenue (CARR), live annual recurring revenue (LARR), and customer lifetime value (CLTV) in assigned tier 1 and tier 2 SAAS and payment processing accounts
Take ownership of all strategic aspects of the commercial relationship between the Company and assigned SAAS customers, including strategic account planning, strategic pricing, contract management, product line penetration, and account profitability
Collaborate with product line Account Executives to identify and facilitate cross-sell opportunities within assigned SAAS accounts across multiple software as a service product lines
Develop, manage, and close upsell opportunities within assigned SAAS accounts across multiple software as a service product lines
Plan, manage, and execute renewal and price increase opportunities within assigned SAAS accounts across multiple software as a service product lines
Conduct thorough research, update, and maintain Know Your Customer (KYC) data within assigned SAAS accounts using all Company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Create and maintain accurate sales forecasts for presentation to sales management
Provide expertise in strategic pricing decisions for complex SAAS product and pricing opportunities
Coordinate the resources and activities of Company stakeholders in departments such as Customer Success, Project Management, Product Line Sales, Operations, and Finance to improve customer satisfaction within assigned SAAS accounts
Plan, manage, and execute product adoption and sales efforts to franchisees within assigned SAAS accounts in collaboration with the Franchise Account Management (FAM) team
Collaborate with Customer Success to conduct Strategic Business Reviews (SBR’s) for assigned SAAS accounts
Represent the Company at relevant events such as trade shows or association meetings by collaborating with SAAS customers
