- You bring at least 3 years of proven success in closing new business with commercial customers, a hunter’s mindset, and a passion for creating meaningful connections

- Fluency in both Dutch and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong understanding of the Dutch business landscape and customer environment
- At least 3 years of direct sales experience at a software vendor, with a proven record of closing net new logos and driving territory growth
- Experience selling into the commercial segment (organisations with 50–1,500 employees)
- A background in working with or through channel partners, maximizing collaboration and reach
- Prior cybersecurity experience is a strong advantage, though not essential for success
- The ability to manage complex sales cycles from initial qualification through to executive-level negotiations
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, maintaining focus and adaptability
- A results-driven, competitive, and self-motivated mindset, with the determination to consistently exceed targets
- Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and objection-handling skills that build trust and inspire customers
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
What the job involves
- SentinelOne is seeking a driven and dynamic Senior Commercial Sales Representative to accelerate our growth across the Netherlands
- In this role, you’ll take ownership of expanding our commercial footprint—targeting organizations of up to 1,500 employees—by identifying opportunities, driving new business, and consistently surpassing ambitious sales goals
- As a Senior Commercial Sales Representative, you’ll take the lead in driving revenue growth across the Netherlands
- You’ll own the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—building meaningful relationships with commercial organizations and collaborating with our channel ecosystem to maximize success in your territory
- Own the full sales cycle: Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close deals with key decision-makers in mid-sized organizations
- Build and manage a high-performing pipeline: Leverage multiple lead sources, outbound strategies, and channel partnerships to create consistent opportunities for growth
- Partner for impact: Collaborate with field sales teams, channel partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to amplify reach and accelerate deal velocity
- Be a trusted advisor: Develop deep knowledge of SentinelOne’s solutions and the cybersecurity landscape to deliver tailored, value-driven conversations
- Stay ahead of the curve: Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to continuously refine your consultative sales approach
- Deliver results with precision: Consistently meet and exceed revenue goals through disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and proactive account planning
- Communicate with clarity: Provide timely and accurate forecasts, insights, and strategic feedback to sales leadership
Our take
Cybercriminals are now leveraging the power of automation to make the current threat landscape too advanced for a lot of legacy antivirus software. SentinelOne is a cybersecurity company that matches this automation with machine learning-focused software designed to help businesses defend against online attacks.
The company expanded the scope of its business from the endpoint security market to three markets valued at a combined $30 billion, including the corporate endpoint security and IT operations management markets. This gives SentinelOne a bigger potential customer base, although it also puts them in direct competition with more focused cybersecurity companies, in addition to its biggest competitor, CrowdStrike.
When the company went public in 2021, it made financial headlines as the highest-valued cybersecurity IPO ever, which gave SentinelOne a market capitalisation of $10 billion. However, it's since fallen to around $ 4 billion. It has subsequently launched S Ventures, a $100M fund, through which SentinelOne invests in cybersecurity startups and has expanded its partnership with major tax firm KPMG to accelerate cyber investigations and responses to threats.
