Who you are
- 3-4 years of B2B marketing experience in digital growth, acquisition, or performance marketing
- Strong understanding of lead generation, demand generation, and account-based marketing
- Experience with marketing ops, automation, and digital marketing tools (e.g., CRM, analytics)
- Analytical skills to measure performance and drive decisions
- Proven project management and collaboration skills

What the job involves
- As a Marketing Strategist, you’ll lead campaigns across digital channels and work closely with sales and product marketing to drive demand and optimize performance
- You’ll play a key role in developing campaigns, creating assets, and measuring success
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to help build a brand from the ground up and make an outsized impact on everything from demand generation to the execution of multi-channel campaigns
- Manage digital marketing campaigns across paid search, email, social media, and events
- Create assets like landing pages, ad copy, and email content to support campaigns
- Analyze and report on campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations
- Collaborate with product marketing and sales for account-based marketing campaigns
- Coordinate marketing operations and ensure the efficient use of automation and tech tools

Financial services are becoming increasingly vital for modern businesses, but building them is a lengthy, complex and often expensive process. Unit exists to make this easy, letting companies provide cards, bank accounts and payment products through its banking-as-a-service platform.
Embedded financial services are popular, as companies look for ways to attract customers with easy payment options and branded payments cards. Unit seeks to differentiate itself by providing a flexible, white label solution, that allows its customers to simply embed Unit's offerings within their product with easy API integrations. This has gained it a large and growing customer base including the likes of Homebase and Wingspan.
Unit's valuation exceeded $1 billion at its last fundraise in 2022, making it the first unicorn in the banking-as-a-service space. It is using this funding for product development, most recently moving into issuing charge cards. While this may bring it into competition with heavyweight incumbents Brex and Ramp, Unit's solution is more cost-effective and flexible for smaller companies and ties in with its existing offering. Despite lay-offs in 2024, Unit is well on its way to its goal of becoming a name ubiquitous among businesses while being unknown to the end user.
