Who you are
- We're looking for a first-year MBA student with prior experience in strategy consulting, operations, startups and/or high-growth tech/fintech environments
- The ideal candidate is analytically strong, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- You've completed your first-year as an MBA student with prior experience in strategy consulting, operations, or a startup, high-growth tech, or fintech environment
- A structured problem-solver who can break down complex, ambiguous challenges and develop clear recommendations
- Analytically strong, with experience in financial modeling and operational analysis
- An effective communicator with the executive presence to engage senior stakeholders confidently
- A self-starter who takes ownership of projects from start to finish
- A collaborative team player who can work across functions and bring people together around a shared goal
- Business-savvy, with a genuine interest in how companies grow and operate
What the job involves
- Expected hours: 40 hr/week
- The Business Operations intern will report to the Head of Business Operations and will help to tackle the company's most critical opportunities and challenges
- This team shapes strategies, identifies growth opportunities, and keeps the organization aligned
- This role requires both big-picture thinking and hands-on execution, with the team shifting between long-term planning and driving results based on business needs
- Partner with senior leadership to solve the company's highest-priority strategic and operational challenges
- Support the development of multi-year plans, growth initiatives, and company-wide priorities
- Conduct financial and operational analyses to inform key business decisions
- Track and drive execution across cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment and accountability
- Build materials and presentations for executive and leadership audiences
